Seven Questions and One Answer

Rav Shaya once told the Rov of Petrovosla, Rav Shlomo Baruch Prager zt”l, “I just answered seven questions with one answer.”

Rav Prager asked what he meant and he explained, “A Yid came to me and cried that he had seven children and no food in the house to give them. He said that it was so bad that he was worried that they might die of starvation. They all had the same question: What can I eat?

“I immediately told one of my attendants to send over a wagon full of food to this man’s house. That’s how I answered seven questions with one solution.”
