Every Jew is Gold

Since the Giving of the Torah, when G-d chose the Jewish People, every Jew has the “Pintele Yid” (“point of Judaism”) and truly wants to do G-d’s will. No matter what a Jew looks like on the outside, their true desire is only to do all the Mitzvos and stay far away from sins. Deep down, we have no ulterior motives. We truly want to serve G-d out of love, because it is the truth.

Every Jew was commanded to contribute to the building of the Mishkan (Tabernacle). Every Jew has the power to make a dwelling for G-d, and for G-d to dwell within every Jew. The first material listed in the materials that the Jews needed to donate for the Mishkan is gold. This is because every Jew is gold!
